I have shown, trained, imported, competed with, and bred German
Shepherd dogs since 1995. Our dogs have won not only in the US,
but all across Europe in Conformation and other performance events.
I had grown up with both German Shepherds and Poodles, and always loved
an intelligent, willing, soulful, and fun dog. My husband when I met him
had a Doberman and always was attracted to smooth coated elegant looking
breeds that were highly trainable. In 2001 we began to look for a
companion for him since his Doberman was getting very arthritic and we
knew she wouldn't be around for long. Another large breed was not
an option, so our search for the perfect little dog for him began.
A small breed with sleek coat, elegant structure and lines, fire, spark,
trainability, and attitude. We found it all in the Manchester
Terrier and we purchased our first Standard in December of 2001.
She was a small Standard but with button ears so she was not able to
show in the toy ring, and not competitive in the Standard ring.
So, we showed her at a couple of matches and let her be my husband's wonderful
companion. We have owned, shown, and finished a handful of Manchesters since her, and continue to truly love and enjoy the breed.
Our children are very
active in training, showing, and puppy socialization. Breeding is not
our main focus, and when we do breed, we do our best to breed what is
only correct and sound. We breed per the breed standard for something
for ourselves first. We are upfront, honest, and open with anyone who
is contacting us about our dogs.
